Job summary

North Kent College (Hadlow Campus) is seeking a Residential Support Officer to help students living on campus thrive personally and academically, with a focus on wellbeing, safeguarding and inclusive community.

You will work 37 hours per week on a shift rota (Sun 5:30pm–Fri 7pm; term-time 8am–1am) with on-call duties, at Hadlow campus, and may have access to onsite accommodation and staff benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in education or residential support environments preferred.
• Pastoral support and safeguarding awareness are desirable.
• Ability to promote student wellbeing and inclusive community.

Responsibilities

• Provide pastoral support to students living on campus.
• Promote wellbeing and personal development among residents.
• Support engagement with studies and enrichment activities while upholding behaviour and safeguarding standards.
