Job summary

Orbital South Colleges Group is seeking a Campus Officer to support students and staff across East Surrey College in Redhill. The role focuses on maintaining a visible, safe and welcoming environment, promoting attendance and positive behaviour during term-time.

You will work with Safeguarding, Wellbeing, Inclusion, Mentoring and Curriculum teams to spot concerns early and ensure students receive the support they need to succeed. This is a salaried, term-time role at 38 weeks per year.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people and/or adults in an education, youth work, community or similar setting.
• Experience supporting attendance, behaviour, participation or student engagement.
• GCSE Maths and English at Level 2 (or be willing to work towards these qualifications).

Responsibilities

• Support students across college campuses and build positive relationships.
• Help create a calm, welcoming and respectful campus environment.
• Work with Safeguarding, Wellbeing, Inclusion, Mentoring and Curriculum teams to identify concerns early.
• Contribute to encouraging attendance, engagement and positive behaviour.
