Morgan Hunt is recruiting a Residential Experience Officer for a college in Northamptonshire. This role supports students in a residential setting, promoting welfare, positive behaviours and a sense of belonging within a safeguarding-focused team.

The successful candidate will contribute to an inclusive, supportive residential community and partner with staff, families and external agencies to ensure student well-being and positive development.

Responsibilities

  • Create a positive and inclusive residential environment where students feel safe, supported and valued.
  • Organise and supervise social, sporting, and volunteering activities that enhance the student experience.
  • Provide pastoral care and act as a trusted point of contact for students' wellbeing needs.
  • Uphold safeguarding, health and safety, and college policies at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, carers, and external agencies to support student success and welfare.
  • Promote positive behaviour and contribute to a respectful residential community.

£24,897.12 - £26,425.38 per annum

(Pro rata to the full-time equivalent salary of £28,770.00 - £30,536.00 per annum)

37 hours per week | 40 weeks per year

Are you passionate about supporting young people and creating positive student experiences? We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Residential Experience Officer to join a college in Northamptonshire. This is a rewarding opportunity to play a key role in promoting student welfare, encouraging positive behaviours, and helping students thrive both academically and personally within a residential environment. As part of the Safeguarding and Wellbeing team, you will help create a safe, welcoming, and supportive community where students can develop confidence, independence, and a sense of belonging.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create a positive and inclusive residential environment where students feel safe, supported, and valued
