Job summary

The University of Bath Campus Services is seeking a Domestic Assistant to help students transition to independent living and ensure all accommodation users have the best possible experience. We currently have a full-time opportunity: 36.5 hours per week with shifts 9:00am–5:20pm Mon–Thu and 9:00am–5:10pm Fri.

Weekend work is on a rota basis, with additional duties during the summer peak period. A strong team ethos and commitment to high standards of service are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning or hospitality is beneficial.
• Good customer service and teamwork skills are important.
• Willingness to work weekends on a rota basis.

Responsibilities

• Clean accommodation areas and report maintenance issues.
• Ensure health and safety guidance is followed.
• Engage with students and visitors as a face of the department.
