Job summary

B&M Care seeks a Domestic Assistant to help maintain high cleanliness and hygiene standards across our home, supporting residents’ quality of life. You will clean allocated rooms, assist with bed making, and follow infection control practices in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with cleaning in residential care settings.
• Knowledge of health and safety and COSHH policies.
• Ability to work as part of a team under pressure.

• Flexible with weekend and varied shifts.

Responsibilities

• Clean allocated rooms including furniture and equipment.
• Uphold high cleanliness standards and home presentation.
• Assist with bed making when needed.
• Follow infection control policies and COSHH guidelines.
• Report defects or maintenance needs and assist with stock control.
• Attend training and adapt to changes in the home.
