Job summary

Sodexo Ltd is seeking a Residency Living Manager to lead the student living experience across multiple sites in Newcastle and Gateshead. You will shape community life, oversee engagement strategies, and drive exceptional customer experiences from arrival through graduation.

You will manage a team, build partnerships with university services, and implement wellbeing initiatives while maintaining strong budgets and a focus on commercial performance.

• Experience using MS Office, databases, and digital communication platforms, including social media.

Responsibilities

• Lead residency living programme across multiple student accommodation sites.
• Create engaging events and wellbeing initiatives to support community life.
• Manage Residency Advisors and operational staff.
• Build strong relationships with university stakeholders and community partners.
• Drive student satisfaction through effective communication and engagement strategies.
• Support on-site café, retail, and social space operations to boost engagement and commercial performance.
• Monitor budgets and contribute to financial targets.
• Use student feedback and market insights to improve the experience.
• Deputise for senior leadership across the portfolio.
