Job summary

West Dean College is looking for a Residential Services Coordinator to oversee on-campus student accommodation, ensuring it is organized, welcoming and ready to support students throughout their on-site journey.

You will coordinate day-to-day administration, handle allocations, arrivals and departures, assist residents, collaborate with teams to prepare rooms and resolve issues, and manage charges, inventories and maintenance reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in administrative, customer service, accommodation or hospitality roles is essential.
• Familiarity with Higher Education environments and residential services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day administration of student accommodation, including room allocations, arrivals, departures, and documentation.
• Serve as a friendly first point of contact for residential inquiries, providing clear information and practical support.
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure rooms are prepared and issues are resolved promptly.
• Managing accommodation charges, inspections, inventories, and maintenance reporting.
• Supporting busy arrival and departure periods with seamless coordination.
