Job summary

University of the Arts London is seeking an Allocations Coordinator to manage the allocation process for its student halls portfolio, ensuring efficient use of available rooms and excellent service to current and prospective students.

You will monitor occupancy, handle accommodation requests, and produce management information to identify trends and improve processes across the portfolio. The role requires strong organisational and communication skills and experience with accommodation systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing or supervising a student accommodation allocations function, including offer cycles, occupancy management and void control.
• Strong organisational and communication skills with ability to balance priorities.
• Experience with accommodation systems (desirable: Kinetic, Agresso ABW, SITS).

Responsibilities

• Oversee the allocation process across UAL’s student halls portfolio to optimise room usage and service quality.
• Monitor occupancy and room availability; manage accommodation requests and complex cases.
• Produce management information and student demand data to identify trends and improve processes.
• Act as a primary contact for accommodation enquiries and issues, handling complaints professionally.
