Job summary

The University Of Manchester is seeking a motivated individual to join the School of Social Sciences as a Teaching, Learning and Student Experience Administrator (Student Support & Wellbeing). This part-time, fixed-term role supports undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and liaises with academic staff, other services, and students to enhance wellbeing.

You will administer student support activities, maintain records with data protection in mind, and deliver high-quality service to all

Qualifications

• Relevant or transferable knowledge and experience in teaching and learning or student administration.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide information, advice and guidance while maintaining confidentiality.
• Experience working in a team environment with flexibility and supporting colleagues.
• Experience with administrative processes, while maintaining confidentiality.
• Excellent digital literacy with Word, PowerPoint, Excel; willingness to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Administer Teaching and Learning and Student Administration activities for the Student Support and Wellbeing team.
• Assist with day-to-day tasks and act as a reference within the team, escalating as appropriate.
• Provide information, advice and guidance to stakeholders.
• Maintain and update system records with reference to data protection; provide reports.
• Deliver excellent customer service to all stakeholders.
