Job summary

University of Manchester is seeking a motivated Teaching, Learning and Student Experience Administrator (Student Support & Wellbeing) to join the School of Social Sciences in a part-time, fixed-term capacity. You will support undergraduate and postgraduate students, liaise with staff and services, and help ensure wellbeing and access to support services.

The role emphasizes customer service, confidentiality, and accurate data handling.

Qualifications

• Relevant or transferable knowledge in teaching and learning administration or student policies.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to advise and guide stakeholders while maintaining confidentiality.
• Experience working in a team environment and supporting colleagues.
• Experience with administrative processes and maintaining data protection.
• Excellent digital literacy with Word, PowerPoint, Excel and willingness to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Administer Teaching and Learning and Student Administration activities for the Student Support and Wellbeing team.
• Provide day-to-day support and act as a reference point within the team.
• Provide information, advice and guidance to stakeholders.
• Maintain and update system records with reference to data protection laws and provide reports.
• Deliver excellent customer service to all stakeholders.
