Job summary

Vita Student in Birmingham is seeking a Customer Service Assistant for a 12 week fixed-term, part-time contract. The role involves front-of-house duties, guest welcome, event support and ensuring facilities are clean and well-maintained.

Flexible shifts across weekdays and weekends with varied hours 6am–9pm. Overtime opportunities are available to cover planned and unplanned events for residents.

Qualifications

• Experienced customer service professional delivering premium experiences.
• Event management experience is a plus with full training provided.
• Hands-on approach to cleanliness and safety in communal areas.

Responsibilities

• Front of House/Reception: greet students and guests warmly.
• Answer questions and provide information for a seamless experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of premium site and facilities.
• Conduct block walks every 4-6 hours and report findings.
• Replenish refreshment stock and manage parcel deliveries.
• Be primary contact for incidents or emergencies on site.
• Adhere to health & safety when managing waste areas.
