Job summary

Cobalt Consulting (UK) Ltd invites applications for a Resident Services Assistant at a build-to-rent development in Birmingham. The role sits at the centre of the resident experience, supporting leasing, community engagement and day-to-day operations on-site.

You will work with the on-site team to deliver a consistent customer experience, maintain amenity spaces, assist with viewings and manage resident communications. This is a full-time on-site position with a 4-on-4-off shift pattern.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of customer service within residential, hospitality, retail or student accommodation environments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, organised approach to tasks; confident engaging with residents and contractors.
• Good written communication and IT literacy for systems and social media.

Responsibilities

• Deliver front of house services and be first point of contact for residents and visitors.
• Maintain presentation of amenity spaces and apartments across the development.
• Organise resident events and engage with resident-led initiatives.
• Respond to rental enquiries, support viewings and offers progression.
• Support leasing processes, keep marketing listings and portals updated.
• Coordinate contractor appointments and respond to maintenance requests.
• Assist with check-in/check-out and mid-term inspections.
• Support health and safety standards with the Resident Services Manager.
