Job summary

Oxford Brookes Students' Union is seeking a proactive events-focused coordinator to help bring student-led activities to life across campus. You will plan and deliver engaging events, support student groups and elected officers, and ensure events comply with budgeting, health and safety, and behavioural policies.

The role involves collaborating with colleagues in Communications and Engagement to promote events and support Union celebrations and recruitment activity at Open Days and Applicant

Qualifications

• Experience planning and delivering campus events or student activities.
• Ability to manage budgets and follow procedures.
• Strong communication with students, officers and staff.
• Commitment to health and safety and free speech policies.

Responsibilities

• Bring society and student-led activities to life with a focus on community and engagement.
• Plan and deliver a schedule of high quality events across campuses.
• Support officers, students and groups to plan, deliver and evaluate events.
• Adhere to events planning procedures including budgeting, health and safety, and behaviour policies.
• Risk assess events to align with Union and university policies.
