City of Bristol College is seeking a Student Community Assistant to help deliver planned events in residences and around Bristol. You will lead a small team of student ambassadors, set up and pack down events, and respond to on-the-day issues to create welcoming spaces for students.
The role is aimed at current students, part-time (7.25 hours/week from September to June), with evenings and occasional weekends.
The Student Community Assistant plays a key role in enhancing the student experience by delivering pre-planned community building events in both halls of residence and around the city. Working without direct supervision during events, this role ensures events are delivered smoothly, creates a welcoming environment and engages students meaningfully. The position is designed for current students who are passionate about creating positive student communities where students feel a sense of belonging.
