Job summary

Edge Hill Students’ Union seeks a proactive Student Engagement Co-ordinator to support societies, student leaders and engagement activities. You will manage governance, room bookings, risk assessments and digital systems, enabling groups to thrive and contribute to campus life.

You will build strong relationships with student leaders, provide training and resources, and ensure services run smoothly while promoting wellbeing and inclusion across the student community.

Qualifications

• Highly organised and proactive, able to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with students and colleagues.
• Experience delivering events, activities, and services for diverse student communities.

Responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact for student societies and communities.
• Administer society elections/registrations and support creation of new societies.
• Coordinate room bookings, risk assessments, and event scheduling.
• Provide guidance to society committees on budgets, funding, and expenses.
• Maintain society records, webpages, and online resources with accuracy.
