Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent demonstrated ability to work independently.
  • Safeguarding training or equivalent experience.
  • Experience supporting students in an educational context.
  • Experience organising trips and visits with risk assessments.
  • Experience creating engaging content and delivering workshops.
  • Experience collaborating with external partners to enable activities.
  • Experience facilitating the ‘student voice’ and feedback mechanisms.
  • Experience in a regulated environment and in customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 welfare and pastoral support to students and refer to external services when needed.
  • Coordinate health registrations with local GP practices and NHS access.
  • Plan and run an annual schedule of welfare events and outreach activities.
  • Manage reception and student-facing services, addressing queries via in person, email, and phone.
  • Support with Mitigating Circumstances forms and meetings.
  • Engage with stakeholders including parents, sponsors, and partner universities.
