A leading higher education institution in Bristol seeks a Student Data and Systems Manager to lead change and continuous improvement initiatives. This role involves implementing a new student information system and supporting the user community while enhancing the student experience. We are seeking a candidate to lead change and continuous improvement activities, comfortable working with technical experts, business process owners, and practitioners. This role will initially focus on our strategic project to implement a new student information system (SIS), leading activities such as communication, engagement, training plans, and supporting our future user community. As the SIS project transitions to business as usual, this role will evolve to embed continuous improvement into our ways of working with the new SIS.
About you
You are an excellent communicator, compassionate, and able to tailor activities to diverse groups. Your influencing and negotiation skills will help us be ambitious and empower teams to deliver effective services supporting the student journey. You will lead various 'business as usual' projects, utilizing your planning and analytical skills to shape our work to meet UWE’s objectives and inform decision-making.

This role is based at our vibrant Frenchay campus, equipped with modern facilities to support staff and students.

Additional information
Shortlisting is expected within 2 weeks of the closing date, with at least a week's notice for interviews. This is a full-time, permanent role, working 37 hours per week, with options for part-time via job sharing. The role is primarily campus-based (at least 60%), with some remote work possible. Salary offers will align with our guidelines, based on skills and experience. Candidates must have the right to work in the UK; we cannot sponsor visas for this role.
