Job details

Are you looking for a role where you can help us deliver change and make a difference to the student and staff experience?

We are seeking a candidate to lead change and continuous improvement activities, working comfortably with technical experts, business process owners, and practitioners. This role will initially focus on our strategic project to implement a new student information system (SIS), leading activities such as communication, engagement, training plans, and supporting our future user community. As the SIS project transitions to business as usual, so will this role, helping to embed evolution into our ways of working with the new SIS.

About you

You are an excellent communicator, compassionate, and able to tailor activities for various groups. You will use your influencing and negotiation skills to help us be ambitious and empower teams to deliver efficient and effective services supporting the student journey. You will lead various ‘business as usual’ projects, applying your planning and analytical skills to shape our work to meet UWE’s objectives and inform decision-making.

Location

This role is based at our vibrant Frenchay campus, equipped with modern facilities and resources to support staff and students.

UWE Bristol is one of the largest providers of Higher Education in the South West, with 38,000 students and 4,000 staff from around the world. Located in Bristol, a dynamic city, we are regionally embedded and globally connected, with a strong network of employer and academic partners.

Our employee benefits include competitive pay, generous annual leave, a career average pension scheme, retail savings, onsite nursery, and opportunities for training and development.

We value diversity and encourage applications from all backgrounds, especially from the global majority, as we are currently under-represented in this area. We are also a Disability Confident employer and welcome applications from candidates with disabilities.
