Job summary

The Winsford Academy is seeking a Positive Behaviour Support Officer to help create a calm and safe learning environment. The role involves visiting classrooms and patrolling corridors to ensure students are in lessons and engaged in learning.

You will support the RESET system to deescalate behaviours and guide students to inclusion spaces for reflection and re-engagement. Ideal candidates will be skilled at deescalation, safeguarding, and working with the Inclusion Manager to keep students on

Qualifications

• Experience in safeguarding and welfare of children.
• Ability to deescalate conflict and support positive behaviour.
• Strong classroom presence and child-centred approach.

Responsibilities

• Visit classrooms and patrol corridors to ensure students are in lessons.
• Support the Inclusion Manager to enable learning in the RESET Inclusion Room.
• Promote a calm, safe environment and help with welfare checks.
