Job summary

Leigh Academy Rainham is seeking an Inclusion Officer to join our committed inclusion team. You will supervise and support students in our Academy Reset and Inclusion Rooms, providing a calm, structured environment for those who may face behavioural challenges through their academy day.

You will offer guidance, consistency and tailored interventions to key vulnerable students, helping them to refocus, regulate and make positive choices.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead the Academy Reset Room, promoting focused, disruption-free learning.
• Support vulnerable students with behavioural or emotional challenges, providing guidance to help them reset and re-engage.
• Deliver tailored interventions within the inclusion setting to promote positive behaviour and self-regulation.
• Build strong relationships with students, families and staff to encourage inclusion and high expectations.
• Contribute to a calm, consistent environment where students feel supported and able to progress.
