Qualifications

• Experience with quantities and valuations on structural steel projects.
• Ability to read fabrication drawings and measure steelwork quantities.
• Proven track record with variations, valuations and final accounts.
• Knowledge of NEC or JCT-style contracts and commercial processes.
• Strong numerical and commercial awareness with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Involved from tender through to final account.
• Review drawings and quantify steelwork packages.
• Produce quantities and valuations; manage variations.
• Keep close watch on costs, forecast final accounts and cash flow.
• Identify and recover value on additional work and avoid leakage.
• Monitor subcontract costs and commercial risks and communicate them.
