Job summary

Rehlko Uninterruptible Power Ltd. in Loughborough is seeking a skilled fabricator to cut, shape and assemble steel plate components. You will build parts to engineering drawings with precision and ensure quality through visual inspections, following revisions from the blueprints.

The role involves operating grinders, drill presses, brakes, rolls, shears and flame cutters, using hand and power tools to produce accurate parts. Overtime after 38 hours is paid.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge and experience in sheet metal fabrication.
• Experience in QC inspection and process experience.
• Proficient with hand and power tools.
• Able to interpret engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Cut, shape and assemble steel plate components.
• Build parts/assemblies to engineering drawings with precision.
• Ensure quality through visual inspections and verify fabrication against drawings.
• Operate fabrication machines (grinders, drill presses, brakes, rolls, shears and flame cutters).
• Work from engineering drawings and specifications and maintain correct revisions.
• Make templates/jigs for repetitive fabrication tasks.
• Overtime paid after 38 hours.
