Job summary
Amentum is the Design and Engineering partner for Sellafield, delivering major projects under a long-term PPP. We seek a Structural Engineer to contribute to LSS1, working in a multi-disciplinary team to develop safe, buildable structures using Tekla, Revit and AutoCAD.
The role involves CDM compliance and liaison with construction. The successful candidate will have a civil/structural degree, Chartered status or progress toward it, and experience in Eurocodes with crane loading.
Qualifications
- A Civil / Structural Engineering degree and Chartered status or working towards it.
- Experience in structural steel and reinforced concrete design to Eurocodes, including crane loading.
- Proficiency with Tekla, Revit and AutoCAD for 3D modeling and 2D drawings.
- Knowledge of CDM regulations and construction coordination.
Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design for LSS1 under Lead Structural Engineer.
- Translate design to 3D model and produce GA and detail drawings.
- Develop material and workmanship specifications as design progresses.
- Coordinate with other disciplines and Construction to ensure buildable design.
- Fulfil the Designer role under CDM Regulations.
