Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Principal Civil/Structural Engineer to join our UK team across multiple office locations. You will lead civil/structural design delivery, including reinforced concrete, plated steel, maritime structures and nuclear facilities.

Collaborate with delivery partners, develop deliverables lists, and ensure work aligns with British and international codes and a regulated quality system. Hybrid work options and extensive career development are available.

Qualifications

• Good, accredited MEng degree in Civil Engineering or similar.
• Strong design experience using British/International standards and Eurocodes.
• Proven delivery track record in civil/structural projects.
• Experience working within a regulated quality system.

Responsibilities

• Work in a team to define, implement and deliver specified civil/structural works meeting safety, functional and business needs.
• Deliver civil/structural engineering design including reinforced concrete, plated steel, maritime and nuclear facilities.
• Manage interfaces to Delivery Partners and design teams.
• Develop deliverables lists and formats (drawings, specs, reports, etc.).
