Job summary

Calibre Search is seeking a Structural Engineer in Cheltenham to work on diverse UK and international projects. You will progress from concept to detailed design, producing Eurocode calculations and coordinating with BIM teams.

You'll visit sites, carry out surveys, investigate defects and craft practical solutions while collaborating with architects, contractors and design teams. The role supports Chartership development in a collaborative consult‑anytime environment.

Qualifications

• A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
• Experience delivering structural design within a UK consultancy or contractor environment.
• Ability to prepare calculations and technical reports for building structures.

Responsibilities

• Develop structural concepts through to detailed design and calculations to Eurocodes.
• Coordinate designs within BIM environments and produce drawings and specifications.
• Visit sites for surveys, inspect structures and propose practical refurbishment solutions.
• Review technical documents and collaborate with architects, contractors and design teams.
• Progress towards Chartership while supported by the consultancy.
