Job summary

Strata Consulting in Bristol is seeking a Project Structural Engineer to join our growing team. You will contribute to the structural design and technical delivery of a diverse range of building and infrastructure projects across the UK, from concept through to construction.

You will produce designs, calculations and drawings for various materials, coordinate with architects and contractors, and ensure designs comply with UK Building Regulations and Eurocodes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering required.
• Experience delivering structural engineering projects in a consultancy setting.
• Knowledge of UK Building Regulations and Eurocodes.
• Experience with structural analysis software such as TEDDS, STAAD, ETABS, Robot or similar.
• AutoCAD, Revit or BIM experience.
• Chartership (IStructE or ICE) achieved or in progress advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Produce structural designs, calculations and drawings for steel, concrete, timber and masonry structures.
• Deliver projects from concept through to construction support.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Prepare specifications, design reports and technical documents.
• Attend design reviews, client meetings and site inspections.
• Ensure compliance with Building Regulations and Eurocodes.
