Job summary

Qube Recruitment is seeking an experienced Strip & Ref… Technician for our client in Hoo, Medway. The role involves removing and refitting vehicle components as part of the repair process, working with a busy vehicle repair team.

You will strip vehicles prior to repair, remove damaged panels, and refit panels and components after repairs, ensuring everything fits correctly and is safe to use. A high level of attention to detail and the ability to work independently or in a team are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as Strip & Ref… Technician or similar role.
• Knowledge of vehicle components and bodywork.
• Comfort using hand and workshop tools.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Pride in producing high quality work.
• Reliable and hardworking.
• Own transport or drive needed for Hoo location.

Responsibilities

Strip & Refit Technician Hoo, Medway

Location: Hoo, Medway
Pay: £17 per hour
Job Type: Full-time

Temp to perm.

We are looking for an experienced Strip & Refit Technician to join a busy vehicle repair team based in Hoo, Medway.

This is a great opportunity for a skilled technician who is confident working on vehicles and has strong attention to detail.

The Role

As a Strip & Refit Technician, you will be responsible for removing and refitting vehicle components as part of the repair process.

Your duties will include:

• Stripping vehicles prior to repair
• Removing damaged panels, trims and components
• Refitting panels and vehicle components following repairs
• Working alongside panel beaters and other technicians
• Ensuring all components are correctly fitted and functioning
• Maintaining a clean and organised working area
• Following health and safety procedures

About You

The successful candidate will:

• Have previous experience in a Strip & Ref... Technician or similar role
• Have good knowledge of vehicle components and bodywork
• Be confident using hand and workshop tools
• Have excellent attention to detail
• Be able to work independently and as part of a team
• Take pride in producing a high standard of work
• Be reliable and hardworking
• Have your own transport / be able to drive, as the Hoo location can be difficult to access by public transport
