Job summary

Kenect Southend in Rochester, England is seeking a Strip/Refit Technician to join our busy bodyshop team under the supervision of the Bodyshop Manager. You will strip and refit panels and help restore vehicles to original condition, ensuring high standards of workmanship.

Applicants should have a full UK driving licence and previous experience in a similar role, with good attention to detail and the ability to work independently. GBP17 per hour is offered.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role is required.
• Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
• Excellent attention to detail is expected.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions when needed.
• Willing to support junior technicians and share expertise.

Responsibilities

• Strip and fit panels on vehicles.
• Carry out repairs to restore vehicles to original condition as per approved methods.
• Remove parts and panels from a range of vehicles.
• Label and store fixings for reassembly.
• Support bodyshop team across departments as required.
• Train bodyshop trainee staff.
