Job summary

Leicester City Council is recruiting for a full-time Street Scene Enforcement role in Leicester, working 37 hours per week. The post involves patrolling city streets, addressing street scene offences, and providing on-street guidance.

You’ll wear a uniform and may use vehicles or e-bikes, with flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays. You’ll need previous enforcement experience, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to prepare reports and court

Qualifications

• Experience enforcing regulations in public spaces and dealing with diverse communities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe, and attractive street scene across the city.
• Run publicity and education campaigns to reduce street scene and enviro-crime offences.
• Issue fixed penalty notices and prepare reports/evidence for court proceedings.
• Liaise with Cleansing, Environmental Health, Highway Management and Police to share information.
