Job summary

Stoke-on-Trent City Council in Lichfield is seeking a Civil Enforcement Officer to join Parking services. The role is outdoor, involves enforcement on behalf of several authorities, and requires a full driving licence.

You will work 37 hours per week in a 12-week rotating shift pattern across Monday to Sunday, with Bank Holidays; weekend and bank holiday pay enhancements apply. DBS check and Right to Work in the UK are part of pre-employment checks.

Responsibilities

• Outdoor enforcement on behalf of multiple authorities throughout Staffordshire.
• Dealing with members of the public face to face, often in difficult situations, remaining calm under pressure.
• Use of a handheld device daily and basic computing skills.
