Job summary

Sierra seeks a senior leader to co-create and ship AI agents that power thousands of daily customer conversations. You will partner with product managers and engineers to scope, design, and refine conversational AI, guiding customers on AI strategy and coordinating multi-stakeholder efforts.

The role emphasizes cross-functional leadership, data-driven decisions, and delivering high-visibility initiatives in a collaborative, in-person environment with offices worldwide.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to explain complex tech to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of software development, product management, and engineering principles.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills; identify risks, mitigate issues, handle challenges.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and lead teams.
• A degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Mathematics or related field; MBA/comparable experience is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Agent Product Managers and Agent Engineers to scope, build, and ship AI agents that handle thousands of customer conversations daily.
• Advise customers and help drive their AI strategies.
• Build, design, and refine conversational AI agents.
• Drive execution and delivery of multiple complex, high-visibility agent projects.
• Coordinate technical and non-technical stakeholders across the development lifecycle.
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders and build strong relationships.
• Contribute data-driven strategic insights to customer and internal decisions.

Requirements

• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, including the ability to identify risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies, and handle unexpected challenges.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and lead teams.
• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience, is a strong plus.
• An MBA or comparable experience at the intersection of technology and operations is a strong plus.
