Job summary

Hackajob Ltd is seeking a senior AI leader to own the agent development lifecycle from scope through conversation design, tooling, evaluation, and production launch.

You will translate customer goals into high‑performing agents, continually tune them with real‑world data, and advise enterprise leaders on AI strategy to help achieve objectives. Collaboration with customer teams is essential to keep projects on track for launch.

Salary: £100,000 - 100,000 per year

Requirements:

• Customer obsession, including genuine energy for engaging with customers, understanding their businesses and needs, navigating complex organizations, and building trusted relationships.
• Clear, direct, and persuasive communication with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong strategic problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills, including the ability to break down complex problems, identify risks early, and adapt as circumstances change.
• Technical aptitude, including comfort reading API documentation, understanding data models and system architecture, and following engineering tradeoffs in design discussions.
• A track record of owning and delivering multiple complex, high-visibility projects and driving them to outcomes.
• Preferred: Experience building or deploying AI/LLM agents in production, familiarity with evaluation frameworks, agent tooling, RAG, or prompt engineering, and experience working closely with technical counterparts.
• Preferred: Experience as a founder, founding team member, or operator, balancing craftsmanship, ownership, and speed.
• Preferred: A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience; an MBA or comparable experience at the intersection of technology and business is also noted.
