Job summary

SSEN Transmission is seeking a Workforce Planning Lead based in Scotland with a focus on resource management, demand planning and contingent worker coordination. The role emphasizes effective allocation of resources across the Transmission portfolio and collaboration with project teams.

The successful candidate will manage workforce demand, drive process improvements and work closely with HR and procurement to secure contingent resources in line with project needs.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in resource management or related positions.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building abilities.
• Proven leadership in managing teams or projects.
• Excellent organisational and analytical capabilities for data and processes.

Responsibilities

• Establish processes for effective resource management and monitor demand and utilisation across the portfolio.
• Set up and embed demand management process for Programme Project Services and allocate resources accordingly.
• Lead contingent worker management including renewal or recruitment through approved suppliers.
• Identify opportunities to enhance resource management practices and track market trends for large capital projects.
• Coordinate with HR and recruitment teams to support resource management activities.
