Job summary

TLT LLP is seeking a Senior Portfolio Manager to join our Transformation and Operations team in Bristol on a 12-month fixed-term basis. You will drive delivery maturity, oversee PMs and BAs, and shape operational change across the firm.

You will collaborate with senior stakeholders to deliver strategic programmes, ensuring governance, readiness, and benefits realisation while developing a high-performing team and robust change methods.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading complex change programmes (portfolio or programme level).
• Ability to lead teams to high performance and set clear expectations.
• Strong change management and operational readiness experience.
• Experience in developing and governing change, resource, risk and issue management processes.
• Analytical skills to manage multiple priorities and solve problems.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills with various audiences.
• Understanding of organisational change and process improvement models.

Responsibilities

• Quickly build trust and relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Set clear performance expectations for project delivery teams and foster high performance.
• Collaborate with the Senior Change Manager on change management strategy aligned to the roadmap.
• Partner with the Senior PMO Manager to manage portfolio resources and alignment to strategy.
• Ensure cohesion and high-quality delivery with governance, processes and standards.
• Provide guidance on business case creation with clear scope and measurable benefits.
• Identify and mitigate portfolio-level risks and issues in collaboration with the team.
• Oversee delivery across the full programme lifecycle with onsite presence during critical phases.
• Advise on and contribute to the Operational Change Playbook and related governance.
