Job summary

Itec Skills and Employment is seeking a Business Development Manager to establish and nurture long‑term business relationships with new and existing clients. The role focuses on promoting training contracts, maximising levy utilisation, and expanding the employer base, with a strong emphasis on building a robust sales pipeline.

You will handle speculative calls, manage relationships through onboarding, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver a high‑quality client experience.

Qualifications

• Proven experience and track record in Business Development, B2B, or employer engagement within training, apprenticeship or education settings.
• Target-driven experience with ability to secure new business and meet monthly targets.
• Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders, HR leaders and L&D teams.
• Experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and strong Microsoft Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Establish, secure and nurture long‑term business relationships with new and existing clients.
• Promote and sell training contracts, maximise levy utilisation and expand employer base.
• Build and manage a sales pipeline from lead generation to onboarding and account growth.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and produce performance reports aligned to KPIs.
