Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Therapeutic Strategy Lead in Reading to develop delivery strategies that meet customer needs during the RFP and bid defense cycle. You’ll bridge sales, medical, and operations to ensure seamless project execution and support sales throughout the business development process.

You will lead cross‑functional teams, monitor market trends, coach project leaders for client presentations, and help shape strategy through data‑driven insights while ensuring budgets and goals are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences with global clinical research experience.
• Director-level operational delivery and/or drug development experience in Oncology.
• Experience in the CRO industry and responsible program delivery.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales, Medical, Operations and other functions to create differentiating strategies for proposals.
• Scan landscape and develop long-term implementation plans to maximize value.
• Maintain understanding of market trends impacting delivery strategies.
• Act as champion for project centricity and ensure delivery teams execute strategy.
• Drive data consolidation to build robust project strategies and leverage external/internal data.
• Coach Project Leaders to present strategy to clients and stakeholders.
• Support Sales during customer and bid defense meetings; lead where required.
• Identify and address quality issues with corrective actions and escalation as needed.
• Ensure budgets meet financial goals and drive Gross New Business.
