Job summary

IQVIA seeks a Therapeutic Strategy Lead to design and implement innovative delivery strategies during the RFP/bid defense cycle. You will bridge sales, medical, and operations to ensure seamless project execution and support business development.

You will lead a virtual team, leverage internal and external data, and mentor the Project Leader to present compelling strategies to clients and stakeholders. This is a senior, on‑site role in Reading, UK.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences and global clinical research exposure.
• Hands-on operational delivery and/or drug development in Oncology.
• Experience in CRO environment and project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales, Medical, Operations to craft tailored project strategies.
• Scan landscape to develop long term implementation plans.
• Maintain understanding of market trends affecting strategic delivery.
• Lead project-centric mindset and enable delivery teams on awarded projects.
• Guide teams to synthesize external and internal data for strategy.
• Mentor Project Leader to present strategy to client and stakeholders.
• Support Sales in customer and bid defense meetings.
• Attend and lead client or bid defense meetings as needed.
• Identify quality issues and drive corrective actions.
• Ensure study budgets align with financial goals and growth targets.
