Job summary

Babcock in Andover, Hampshire seeks a Telematics Solutions Lead to steer the LIOS transformation, redefining how military assets are monitored, maintained and supported. You’ll shape telematics, connected asset technologies and data-driven maintenance, influencing national readiness.

Daily you will define deployment, identify data opportunities, develop solution roadmaps, and collaborate with senior stakeholders across disciplines to deliver strategic outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in telematics, connected assets, fleet intelligence, or IoT-enabled environments.
• Strong understanding of asset management, fleet management, maintenance, reliability or performance.
• Experience delivering strategic solutions or transformation programmes.
• Proven ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Define deployment of telematics across the LIOS environment.
• Identify opportunities to boost asset availability and maintenance via data.
• Shape operating models using telematics and digital solutions.
• Collaborate with technical, operational and customer stakeholders to gather requirements.
• Produce strategic recommendations, roadmaps and designs for future capabilities.
