Job summary

Babcock is seeking a Telematics Solutions Lead at our Andover site, offering hybrid working and a chance to influence national security technology.

You will lead the LIOS transformation, defining how telematics and connected assets are deployed, and work with senior stakeholders to deliver roadmaps, designs and data-driven maintenance solutions for improved asset availability and operational readiness across the Army fleet.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Asset Management, Logistics, or related field.
• IAM/IEng/CEng/APM accreditation desirable.
• Knowledge of ISO 55000 and predictive/condition-based maintenance desirable.
• Experience with telematics, connected assets, and fleet management platforms desirable.

Responsibilities

• Define deployment of telematics across the LIOS environment.
• Identify opportunities to improve asset availability and maintenance through data exploitation.
• Shape future asset management and fleet support operating models using telematics and digital solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand challenges and future requirements.
• Produce strategic recommendations, roadmaps and solution designs for future capabilities.
