Job summary

Phoenix Software in the United Kingdom is seeking a Technical Pre-Sales Specialist to drive infrastructure, EUC and hybrid transformation opportunities. You will design end-to-end solutions, support sales with technical insights and help articulate business value to customers.

The role requires strong solution design, presales, and relationship-building skills, with hybrid working options and a focus on public sector and enterprise customers.

Qualifications

• Experienced in technical presales, solution design and engaging with both technical and commercial stakeholders.
• Ability to translate complex infrastructure and hybrid IT into business value and opportunities.
• Strong understanding of enterprise technologies across hardware, software, cloud, storage and managed services.

Responsibilities

• Act as a subject matter expert for Phoenix’s infrastructure, cloud, virtualisation, storage, managed services and transformation solutions.
• Identify, qualify and develop hardware, software, cloud and services opportunities across existing customers and new prospects.
• Work closely with sales teams to drive pipeline growth, promote focus technologies and maximise cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
• Design and present end-to-end solutions, including proposals, presentations, BOMs and tender responses.
• Provide technical sales expertise, articulating business value, transformation drivers and solution benefits to customers and stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, partners and internal teams to support business growth and customer success.
• Stay current with market trends and emerging technologies, ensuring Phoenix solutions remain competitive and differentiated.
• Maintain relevant accreditations and contribute to training, marketing events and knowledge sharing across the business.
• Support opportunity forecasting, pipeline management and reporting in line with business requirements.
• Actively contribute to team objectives, sales targets and continuous improvement initiatives.
