TEAM is seeking a Technical Presales Consultant to shape complex data centre projects, win customer confidence and own delivery from initial discussions through to handover. The role is split roughly 50/50 between technical pre-sales and project delivery, working with customers to translate requirements into practical solutions.

Based in Bracknell with hybrid working and UK travel, you will join a five-person team reporting to the COO, gaining direct influence on scoping, pricing and delivery of

Qualifications

• Demonstrable technical pre-sales experience with customer discovery, solution design, scoping and bid support.
• Strong practical knowledge of physical IT infrastructure in live data centre environments, including rack-and-stack, cabling and hardware installations.
• Experience independently managing technical infrastructure projects, including budgets, resources, suppliers and delivery risks.
• Background in an IT infrastructure services provider, systems integrator, technology vendor or similar technical environment.
• Experience working directly with customers, translating technical requirements into commercially viable proposals and deliverable project plans.

Responsabilités

• Work with the sales team to understand customer requirements, conduct site surveys and identify practical technical solutions.
• Develop accurate estimates, scopes of work and technical proposals to support bids and commitments.
• Manage infrastructure projects from planning through completion, controlling budgets, resources and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate engineers, suppliers and subcontractors to ensure installations and relocations are delivered successfully.
• Identify technical and operational risks early, maintaining clear customer communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Share pre-sales knowledge to support colleagues in discovery, scoping and estimating.
