Job summary

CFC Underwriting is seeking a Talent & Development Partner to shape and deliver our enterprise-wide talent and development strategy. You will lead leadership development and high-potential programmes, align initiatives to business priorities, and drive measurable impact across the organisation.

This hands-on role focuses on turning strategy into action, embedding high-impact programmes, and elevating performance while advancing internal mobility and governance across teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial services, insurance, or a fast-paced commercial environment with clear link between talent and business performance.
• Proven track record delivering leadership and high-potential programmes that strengthen capability and support progression.
• Strong experience in succession planning and talent reviews with senior stakeholders; credible and pragmatic processes.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Head of Talent & Development to deliver a consistent approach to talent and succession planning across the business.
• Design and deliver leadership development programmes (e.g., Management Essentials and Emerging Leaders) that build capability and performance.
• Lead the annual talent review process for senior populations, identify successors, assess readiness, and define actionable development plans.
• Develop targeted pathways for high-potential talent and accelerate readiness for critical roles.
• Promote internal mobility by shaping clear, practical career pathways and ensuring frameworks are used across the business.
