Job summary

NewDay Cards Limited is seeking a Supplier Manager to lead day-to-day management, governance and improvement of a diverse supplier portfolio. You will partner with internal teams and external providers to optimise performance, manage onboarding and assurance, and deliver value across Credit & Collections and operations.

The role emphasises governance, risk control and data-driven decision-making in a regulated financial services environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing suppliers, vendors or external service providers.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication across all levels, including senior stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and effectively within a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and analytical capabilities, with the ability to use data and MI to drive improvements.
• Experience investigating, understanding and resolving supplier or operational incidents.
• Knowledge or willingness to learn managing suppliers and/or external relationships within a regulated environment.
• Supplier governance, assurance, risk management and control frameworks.
• Financial services experience is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management, oversight and optimisation of multiple strategic suppliers across Credit & Collections and wider operations.
• Build and manage effective relationships with internal teams and suppliers to drive performance improvements.
• Implement and oversee supplier assurance activities, governance frameworks and controls.
• Oversee supplier onboarding, assurance and framework adherence to governance and contractual requirements.
• Produce and utilise supplier performance reporting and MI to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Drive continuous improvement while reducing supplier-related operational and compliance risks.
