Job summary

HP in the United Kingdom seeks a Solution Architect to turn customer requirements into HP solutions, coordinating RFP responses and aligning SMEs. The role designs end-to-end solutions across devices, services, and automation for contracts.

You will act as a technical and commercial bridge between the customer, Engagement Lead, sales teams, and delivery towers, driving high-TCV wins and revenue profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; 5+ years in consultative or solutions sales.
• Experience architecting end-to-end, contract-based solutions including custom services.
• Track record leading RFP responses and coordinating cross-functional SMEs through complex bids.

Responsibilities

• Solution design — Create end-to-end solution, selecting devices and related solutions; define custom services with delivery teams.
• Outcome-based strategy — Deliver a strategy focused on automation and transformation; streamline paper-based processes.
• Customer engagement — Gather requirements and present the solution; facilitate meetings with client stakeholders.
• Alliance and orchestration — Align with Engagement Lead and sales teams; coordinate SMEs and cross-functional teams.
• Bid kickoff — Review bid timelines, parameters, services scope, and deadlines with design collaborators.
• Technical leadership — Address deeper technical issues and interface with groups.
• Costing and deal process — Obtain costs, complete deal costing, and support with SOAR/DSR processes.
• Governance and contracting — Propose governance and align with contract and SOW.
• Competitive differentiation — Differentiate HP solutions and drive high-TCV wins.
• Ease of doing business — Ensure smooth handoffs and implementation for growth.
