Job summary

Aviva plc is seeking a Technical Underwriting Specialist to shape underwriting strategy for SME Direct, expanding appetite and improving offerings. You will work with Underwriting, Claims, Operations and Product teams to deliver improvements that support customer needs and growth.

The role combines technical underwriting with strategic thinking, offering collaboration across the business and opportunities to influence product evolution while delivering competitive, customer-centric solutions.

Qualifications

Strong Commercial SME underwriting experience.
Deep understanding of underwriting principles and market dynamics.
Ability to build relationships with stakeholders across functions.
Experience contributing to product development or process improvements.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Help expand appetite and enhance product offerings.
