Job summary

Mitie is seeking a Senior Employee Relations Advisor to join our People Team in a hybrid working arrangement. You will deliver expert ER advice across complex cases, balancing risk and business needs, and drive improvements in policies and practice.

We value CIPD background, strong employment law knowledge, and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, including Directors. You will guide managers, coach teams, and contribute to cross-functional HR projects.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Employee Relations and complex case handling.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and risk management.
• Proven ability to influence and build credibility with directors and senior leadership.
• Experience developing HR policies, guidance, and manager training.

Responsibilities

• Act as trusted advisor on complex ER cases across business units.
• Drive continuous improvement by implementing case recommendations and lessons learned.
• Shape policies, procedures, toolkits, and ER best practices.
• Coach and develop the ER team and wider HR colleagues.
