Job summary

KINGS NORTON GIRLS' SCHOOL seeks an exceptional SENDCO to join its extended leadership team. The role focuses on coordinating strategic SEND provision across key stages and embedding inclusive practice across the school.

You will work with staff, families and external agencies to ensure high-quality teaching and pastoral care for all learners. The post is a full-time, permanent appointment starting September, with an emphasis on leading an inclusive culture and driving school-wide inclusion

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and current SEND legislation.
• Understanding of high-quality teaching and adaptive practice to enable all learners to succeed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate strategic SEND provision across all key stages.
• Support the leadership team to embed inclusion throughout all aspects of school life.
• Work collaboratively with staff, families and external agencies.
• Support staff to meet the needs of all learners through excellent curriculum and teaching provision and pastoral care.
