Job summary

KINGs Norton Girls' School in Birmingham seeks an exceptional SENDCO to lead the school-wide inclusion strategy and coordinate SEND provision across all key stages. You will work with staff, families and external agencies to ensure high standards of teaching, pastoral care and learner outcomes.

The role is full-time and permanent, commencing in September, and offers the opportunity to influence practice across the school as part of the extended leadership team.

Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and current SEND legislation.
• Strong understanding of high-quality teaching and adaptive practice that enables all learners to succeed.
• Demonstrates integrity, honesty and professionalism at all times.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate strategic SEND provision across all key stages.
• Support the leadership team to embed inclusion throughout all aspects of school life.
