Zusammenfassung

Princes Risborough Primary School is seeking a Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) to lead SEND provision across the school while teaching two days a week.

You will manage the SEND budget, maintain pupil records and EHC plans, liaise with parents, the local authority and external professionals, and work with the Head of ARP and other SENCOs. The post starts on 1 January 2027 and visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifikationen

• Qualified teacher with SENCo qualification or equivalent
• Experience leading SEND provisions and improving outcomes
• Ability to manage budgets and monitor funding
• Strong liaison with parents and external agencies
• Confident in data analysis and performance review

Aufgaben

• Lead strategic oversight of SEND provision across the school
• Ensure SEND policies are implemented and reflected in improvement plans
• Maintain SEND and CLA registers, provision maps and pupil records
• Coordinate SEND provision, lead intervention groups and measure impact
• Manage SEND budget and staff deployment
• Identify SEND/CLA/PP pupils and analyze progress
• Review EHC plans with families and secure services
• Be the key contact for parents, LA and professionals
• Guide staff on teaching SEND pupils and lead INSET
• Support transitions by sharing information with receiving schools
• Contribute to Equality Act duties and governing board publications
• Deliver 2 days/week of teaching and model inclusive practice
