Princes Risborough Primary School is seeking a proactive SENCO to lead the strategic development and delivery of SEND provision. You will monitor, review and implement policy, ensuring alignment with the school’s ethos and improvement plans.

The role requires collaboration with external agencies, accurate data handling, and leading inclusion initiatives to support high standards for all pupils and effective use of funding.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for SEND policy across the school.
• Evaluate and oversee provision for pupils with SEND, aligning with school values and self-evaluation.
• Ensure SEND policies are implemented and reflected in the school improvement plan.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of national/local initiatives affecting SEND practices.
• Coordinate SEND and CLA registers and provision maps.
• Guide colleagues on teaching SEND pupils and optimal use of resources and budget.
